    Hey, Morningstarr told me you have fido-net on your bbs. We had talked about trying to grow hobby-space qwk network. He said you had Fido-net and I was wondering something. Do you think you could place an add for hobby-space on fido-net? Like place it in any board you could think of so we have more people to talk to on here. I think it's a cool little network, without the jerks and gate-keepers.

    I haven't even advertised my BBS yet because I was pulling my hair out with FidoNet until I got it right, which is a serious pain in the ass, then working with Morningstarr with the QWK network and setting it up correctly on my side so the subs lined up (3 of them were mis numbered and messages were landing in the wrong areas). I have a few more things to do on my BBS before I really advertise it because I'd like to keep my users coming back. I am very close to being happy enough to tell everyone.

    But YES! Of course I will advertise Hobby-Space QWK network on FidoNet! BTW - I already have it on my home page of JerseyJam.com, the Telnet BBS Guide listing for my BBS (I think this was the very first mention of it) and when you log into my system over telnet the first notice after login mentions it. We need to think of a good advertisement for it on FidoNet to grab folks. I've seen a lot of great ads on there so just need to figure something out:

    I could draw an ansi ad for hobby-space. I had a pretty nice one for Starr-net back in the day. I would love to have several boards connected, like back in the day. Conversations and messages flowing with each upload.
