  • Other bbs not using qwk network

    Hey, I noticed that other bbs that is on your qwk network isn't really using it to it's full potential. Has the sysop advertised to his users about this message network? Does his board even have users? No offense, I would just like to see this message network get as popular as Dove-net without all those jerks on there.

    I am not sure buddy! I know I would like to see more messages being tossed around. I have told a few boards about it, invited them to join. I will continue to invite Sysops to join. I wonder where would be a good place to advertise it. I don't have Fido-net, and kind of don't want it on my board. BiggieB has Fido-net on his board. I wonder If he will advertise it for us.

    Remember, if you are a validated user on my system you can post on FidoNet as yourself. You also have your own FidoNet email address which comes back to your JerseyJam account. No need to wait me for me to be ready to finally advertise myself. Just post away though my system to FidoNet and advertise your system - just remember, if you sign your post you should use your real name. Even if it's just your real first name - it's one of the rules of FidoNet, otherwise don't sign it. I poll FidoNet ever hour to my hub in Toronto, CA @ Zone 1. It may take a few hours before you see your post on other systems with FidoNet cause the EchoMail well.... has to Echo - LOL. Posting using Syncterm if you are gonna include ANSI colors and art, using the web doesn't show it correctly at all. Your post will make its way around the globe to a few thousand BBS FidoNet Node's connected to BBS's equalling many, many people seeing it.

    I want to post an ad, I would like to make an ansi ad as well. I'm gonna get on there and put one up. I know fido is a beast, that's why I don't have it on mine, hahaha. You are a cosysop and part own of hobby-space :)
