[...] I got in the habit of taking
out my week's budget in cash from an ATM, then paying cash for lunches,
gas, incidentals, groceries...
As a nice side-effect, I had a tangible view of how much I'd spent that
week when I opened my wallet. And, got cash discounts when buying gas.
Overall, paying cash was a positive experience.
I would have thought most people would say that a "paper" record, via debit/
>creditcard, would offer a better "view" of monies spent vs cash.
But seeing those dollar bills disappear makes more of an impression
than having a nice neat list of what you bought.. B)
