You mentioned something about ripping in a previous message? I thought
that ripping blu rays was not really possible. I like making a copy of my DVD episodes and movies so I can watch them on an SBC PC I have hooked up
to the TV.
Would be interested to know if BRs are any more likely to be
copy-protected or DRM'ed than DVDs are. I have only had one working
DVD set that refused to be ripped.
I am not even sure I've seen a PC blu ray reader.
Using MakeMKV, you can rip pretty much any BD (4K or regular) no matter the copy protection, if you've re-flashed the ROM on it and use MakeMKV, which
does the same thing as a player to break the protection while ripping. It's really nice and very reliable. You do need to do some research though.
