    They've pretty much stopped making DVD's in favor of the higher resolution quality of the Blu-ray format. But at least if you upgrade your player you'll be able to enjoy both formats. A lot of the players these days even support the higher 4K standards.

    Yep, I've got an LG external 4k BUN-40. Flashed it and use MakeMKV to rip
    all the time. I might get an extra just in case as many manufacturers are stopping production and I've used the one for a couple of years now...
