Honestly one of the things that bothers me most about living in North Jersey is how Mcdonalds does not offer mustard on their burgers. You go to any Mcdonalds anywhere else in the USA and they all put mustard on their burgers. North Jersey is the ONLY place in the world (at least to my knowledge) that does not allow mustard on Mcdonalds burgers. You can't even ask to get a mustard packet, they simply don't have them in stock no matter where you go. Apparently the Mcdonalds marketing team found out that people who live in the North East USA (particularly North New Jersey and the New York City area) are not a fan of mustard as much as the rest of the world, so they purposely removed them from all locations based on marketing statistics. As a mustard lover myself, I find it a crime that Mcdonalds doesn't have mustard. The only mustard they offer is honey mustard for their chicken nuggets. For my entire life, I didn't even know Mcdonalds burgers were supposed to have mustard. It took many years before I found this information out, and I've been bitter ever since...

Historically, McDonald's cheeseburgers have always included mustard, reflecting the original recipe from the start of the business. However, all New Jersey locations have recently eliminated mustard entirely. It is no longer included on any menu items, and condiment packets are completely unavailable upon request. McDonald's should reinstate mustard as an option for customers, as well as the original deep-fried apple pies.

Does anyone know of a Mc Donalds in northern NJ where you can still get yellow mustard on a basic cheese burger at Mc Donalds?

It's one thing to get rid of mustard from all burgers, but to also get rid of all mustard condiment packets? At least give consumers the option to put mustard on their food. Maybe they're right that North Eastern USA people don't like mustard, but there's at least a few of us who do want it on our burgers. Perhaps you can make the argument that providing mustard packets will cost Mcdonalds money and wouldn't be worth it since majority of New York/New Jersey citizens won't use them anyways. My counter to this is Mcdonalds makes 25 billion dollars in revenue each year, I'm sure they can spend a few thousand per year to ship mustard packets to their New Jersey/New York restaurants. Also what about people who come from other states? They will surely be disappointed to find out that Mcdonalds burgers are missing mustard. Spending a few grand each year is worth it much more than the reputation damage and disappointment consumers will have about the missing mustard.
