From Gamgee@86:200/23 to All on Friday, June 06, 2025 19:50:33
Looking for some suggestions on what works well for RDP/VNC connections
between two Linux boxes, both running GUI (X). Not interested in
    anything for Windows, just Linux-to-Linux.

What's your favorite? Thanks for ideas.

Call me old school, but if I need to GUI from another Linux box I usually just
ssh on over and export the display back to local.

Nothing wrong with old school. I could, and have, done that, but
sometimes I get the itch to use a GUI tool, for reasons unknown. ;-)

    Thanks for the reply.

xrdp is an open-source implementation of Microsoft's Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). It allows users to remotely access a Linux desktop's graphical user interface (GUI) from Windows, macOS, or other Linux machines using standard RDP clients (like Microsoft Remote Desktop).
