Hello everybody!
1. The NIX_ADMIN echo is for NixNet SysOps only.
2. Testing is to be conducted in NIX_ADMIN for now. If, in the future, it gets out of hand, we will consider adding a test echo.
3. Dan has asked about automated postings. For now, they will be permitted in the appropriate echo for their content. However, we don't want automated postings to be the only traffic available on the network. If this becomes a problem, we may separate automated postings to their own echo or restrict them entirely.
3a. Automated file announcements for NixNet administrative files (nodelist, infopack, etc.) will be posted by my system as they are released. For now, no other file announcements will be permitted. We don't need legitimate content being drowned out by every node in the network announcing that they received the weekly nodelist.
4. Any questions or requests are to be addressed here, or sent to me via netmail or email.
