If you sort by Date, the "Go to the newest message" works as expected - you're taken to the last one in the list. If, like me, you sort by Arrival, it doesn't always take you to the last one.
I'd prefer it to move to the last message, but it's not a big issue... except when there's a post with an incorrect future date.
Example: see a message posted in BBS_ADS in July, with date 7 Dec 2026.
