  • User reports inactivity timeout lower than value set

    In scfg I have "Maximum user inactivity" set to 15m

    The user is saying that he gets a warning after 3:45 and then disconnected after 5.

    Maybe I'm using the wrong setting?

    Check SCFG->System->Advanced Options->Maximum User Inactivity. The default setting is "5 minutes".

    The online help in SCFG explains the difference between this setting and SCFG->Servers->Terminal Server->Max User Inactivity (default: <disabled>).

    The online help is only useful if you find it in the Advanced Options section, no such notice exists for the Terminal Server other than a link to the wiki page. Thanks. I have now got it sorted.
